I'm dissapointed they got rid of snaking... it's what made mario kart. I think it's a move to dumb down the Mario Kart series for all the new casuals this gen.

for people without eyes there is little difference (trolls have bad eye sight). or they choose not to see them or they have clouded memories

I enjoyed Double Dash extremely, but also remember enjoying mk64... Though Double Dash was played more for me.

This is gonna be an awesome game!

All the online stuff:

There's going to be a channel for it where you get in-depth statistics and you can see how you rank. You can also download/save ghost data. In addition, you can race up to 12 players, 2 on one console, and then you can battle in battle mode online!

I can't wait! :D

For the trolls: no, it's not up to 360 and Ps3 standards but it clearly looks improved from double dash. for the res, just be sure you enjoy the game.

Me too. That places look really impressive. Mostly for its design! I'm loving that place. :D

Also the mall sounds really cool too. Apparently there are a lot of shortcuts, which is something I love.

I'm very glad 1UP likes the wii-mote/nunchuck combo. I think it will be my preferred play style. It's a pity they don't use IR pointing for shell shooting :P

While each of those play-styles were quite responsive and instantly familiar, the Wii Remote/Nunchuk combo offered the best of both worlds

Yay, the missions from the DS version are back. I loved those.

Also lol at the people who say it looks like the Gamecube one. (It still could be improved though)

I snaked on DS because I was too good and bored with slow people. But no matter, I could beat anyone here without snaking and using the fattest driver. You can't stop me.

You must've missed the part where it says that there are 32 tracks overall. 16 are old ones and 16 are new ones.

Hasnt it been around 5 years since DD came out. I dont think its to much to expect a larger leap in graphics.

They added bloom and a tad bit more detail... That pretty much covers what more the Wii can do while still maintaining a smooth framerate... At least there's more racers on the track this time...

There's only so much that 17 watts of power can do... Try the 117+ of the 360 and PS3 if you want more graphics power...
